High Tide Low Tide

Today is:

From 2003 to 2012 Michael Marten travelled to different parts of the British coast to photograph identical views at high and low tide, six or eighteen hours apart. His beautiful and surprising photographs reveal how the twice daily rhythm of ebb and flood can dramatically transform the landscape.

As you can see any image may be flipped, not restricted to coins or geometric objects. Hovering over any image above flips between High Tide and Low Tide, using the simple image flip. Not earth shattering but a great way to demonstrate nature at its best. Marten's work displays the dynamic nature of the tides and how landscapes can be drastically different on a daily basis.
